HOW TO BE A RESPONSIBLE NETIZEN?

What is a netizen?

A netizen is someone who uses the internet.
most of these people who we call netizens are millenials or generation y,but,by simply searching something using the internet you have simply become a netizen .There are also responsibilities you have as a netizen because the internet is a powerful weapon or tool that can be used against another netizen.

Tips to be a good netizen:

  • Never give personal information such as your name, address, phone number, password, or financial information to someone you meet over the Internet
  • Never reply to email or text messages that are inappropriate and threatening, or make you feel uncomfortable
  • Report to your parents, teachers, or authorities any email with inappropriate contents that make you feel uncomfortable
  • Never agree to meet with someone you know from the Internet
  • Be careful when someone offers you something for free over the Internet

  • Use websites of established and trusted institutions or companies
  • Look for specific website that has the kind of information you are looking for
  • Perform online purchases with reputable companies' websites only.
  • Avoid using articles or works produced anonymously. The information on that site might not be reliable.

What responsibilities do netizens have?

Nercitizens have the same responsibilities as a citizen of a country, town or any other social environment. They are responsible to be courteous and respectful of others and to be honest and truthful. They have a responsibility not to steal material that belongs to others, including music, videos, website content, etc. They also have a responsibility not to invade privacy in any way, including hacking accounts and such things. They also have a responsibility not to cyberbully.
Basically, all the responsibilities a citizen of anything has, a netcitizen has. Unfortunately, the net is so similar to other environments that we have all those types that do not take the responsibilities seriously or just do not care to be responsible.
